Meet Our Staff

About Us

Dr. Trina Bedsaul, Au.D. began helping her father in his Winston-Salem Beltone hearing aid shop when she was a child. She spent many Saturdays at the Winston Salem office while he was working. Her father, Ray Bedsaul spent more than 50 years with Beltone before retiring, expanding his store locations from the Piedmont Triad and Mountain Regions.

At first, young Trina cleaned and dusted and handed out cookies to his patients. But she began to see how her father helped change people’s lives and decided she would follow in his footsteps.

She obtained an audiology degree and a doctorate in audiology so she could help people hear better, whether they are newborns or 99 years old. Dr. Bedsaul has spent many years teaching classes for students entering the hearing healthcare field as Hearing Instrument Specialists. Both she and her father have served on the North Carolina licensing board for hearing aids. During her tenure, Bedsaul helped revise the exam given to those seeking to be part of the hearing healthcare profession.

Today she operates over 12 Beltone stores in the Piedmont Triad and Mountain regions of North Carolina. Keeping the family owned, “2nd generation office running behind the scenes is her sister, Mindy.” Together they continue the family tradition of helping people stay connected to their friends, family and their lives.

About Beltone
